Calculators, simulations and backtests
Calculators use simplified assumptions such as constant returns and do not include every cost or tax. Simulations and games use generated or illustrative data. Backtests use historical data and simplified execution rules; real results differ because of costs, slippage, liquidity, taxes and behaviour.
